How To Cast Good Luck Spells

How To Cast Good Luck Spells Image
Have you broken a mirror in the past seven years? Do you find yourself always losing on the horses, or at the casino? Try this good luck spell, it just might increase your odds of winning!

How to Cast Good Luck Spells

Step 1. Place the dried clover between the two wooden boards. Sprinkle the top board with the lavender oil. 4 to 6 drops is sufficient. Rub the oil into the top board with using only the first two fingers on your right hand. Wash your hands thoroughly once this is done.

Step 2. Light one of the wooden matches and then light the green candle. Place the green candle on top of the two wooden boards with the lavender on it. Imagine in your head that you are the luckiest person on the earth. Visualize yourself as the person whom you wish to be like.

Step 3. Wait 15 minutes. After 15 minutes has passed, move the candle to the side and lift the top board off of the crushed clover.

Step 4. Pick up the clover in your hands. Rub your hands together, crushing the clover to a finer powder. Smother your face, hands and arms with the clover. Once again, visualize yourself as an extremely lucky person. Think positively and pretend you are the most optimistic person you have ever met.

Step 5. Set the boards with the oil on them in a safe place for 1 month. Once the month is over with, burn the wood until it is only ashes.

Tips And Warnings

* Make sure you place your candle on a candle holder or flame resistant surface.
* Always be sure to use caution while using fire.
* Extinguish all fire completely after you are finished with it.

Magick Christians

Magick Christians Cover
Greetings from BaphoNet. Apparently, I fall into the "Non-Traditional Christian" box. I shall now proceed to confuse everybody by refusing to fit
into any pigeonhole.

I have been for some ten years a member of the New Church ("Swedenborgian").

The 18th century revelations found in the voluminous writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg, renowned scientist, theologian and visionary, overwhelmed by MAKING SENSE. However, we have yet a considerable way to go in conveying the news to the public at large. On announcing that one is a Swedenborgian, approximately 62% of the population respond with "What church is that?" 29% ask "Is that the Swedish Church?" The rest simply stand there with mouths open.

When asked what he was teaching, Swedenborg replied "Two things: that God is one, and that faith is inseparable from charity."

Point 1 means that the Lord Jesus Christis the SAME God who made Heaven and Earth and no nonsense about it. Worship is always addressed to Christ, not to any "trinity".
Point 2 represents arepudiation of salvation "by faithalone". We hold most emphatically the truth of James: "Faith without works is dead".

Naturally, things could not be left so simple. I look forward to discussing the immoderately abstruse issues involved.

Just in case you are not confused enough already, I found myself drawn into the pursuit of the so-called "high" occult. This led directly to the formation of the Third Order of St. Michael, which coalesced from the set of esoteric Christians collected around Katherine Kurtz, and who found the "Deryni Christian" archetype a valid spiritual expression. The principal result so far has been liturgical expression pursued wherever enoughof us can be found.

Locally I am affiliated with a temple of the Sangreal Sodality, a non-sectarian, decentralized, and frighteningly eclectic organization following the broad tradition of the Golden Dawn and its successors, and drawing inspiration and initation from the work of William G. Gray.

Completing The Circle

Completing The Circle Image
As women, we carry the feminine energy of the world, and it is our task to not only honor the feminine in ourselves but also make sure that it is honored both in others and by others. We need to welcome those feminine principles of kindness, consideration, and reverence into both our personal lives to those on our planet so that all of us can move from a spirit of competition and chaos to one of cooperation and compassion.

It is our calling to complete the sacred circle of support by accepting blessings and becoming a blessing. Culturally and socially we have been trained to give to others; but, in order to become an integral and constructive cog in the wheel of life, we must first complete the sacred circle within ourselves--feeding ourselves from the feminine fruits of kindness, consideration, and reverence. From a vessel filled with such fruits, we will be able to freely pour our best into the Whole, giving the bountiful harvest of our love.

Because preparing ourselves to complete the circle is a sacred charge, reverently ask yourself what kind of blessing you would like to become. Are you already blessing yourself in some way? If not, what do you need to do in order to complete your inner circle? What attitudes would you like to change about yourself? What wounds need healing? What compassion do you need to show yourself? (From "The Women's Book of Soul" by Sue Patton Thoele)

How To Practice Witchcraft Spells

How To Practice Witchcraft Spells Image
When one thinks of witchcraft and spells, the tendency is to imagine a haggard woman of the wood reciting an incantation to hex her neighbor. This is unfortunate and completely inaccurate. To practice true witchcraft spells means to accept personal responsibility for one's actions and their consequences. So, before you fire up your cauldron, learn how to properly practice witchcraft spells.

How to Practice Witchcraft Spells Instructions

Things You'll Need:

* Spell supplies and materials, as appropriate

Step 1. Decide on the spell you wish to perform. This will depend on your goal or intent, whether it be to increase financial abundance, find a new job or promote good health.

Step 2. Practice responsible ethics. Accept that we cannot always change what is meant to be, nor should we try to. Likewise, life is full of lessons that are intended to be learned from. So, examine your motives carefully before resorting to using a spell to bring about change through witchcraft.

Step 3. Follow the Witch's Pyramid when performing any spell. This is a set of four pillars (or principles) that are integral to success. They are: To Know (understand the mechanism of the spell and its effects), To Will (the ability to focus on your intent), To Dare (to believe that you are worthy of receiving this blessing) and To Keep Silent (don't negate the positive flow of energy set in motion by talking or bragging about your spell).

Step 4. Prepare the area for spellwork by walking in a circle three times deosil (clockwise) while cleansing the space once with sprinkled salt, again with blessed water and the final time with the smudging of incense, such as frankincense or myrrh.

Step 5. Consecrate any tools you intend to use when casting spells, such as a wand, pendulum or an athame (a special knife used for ritual, not cutting). To do this, set up a lit candle, burning incense, a bowl of blessed water and a bowl of salt to represent the four elements. Then pass the object over the candle flame (Fire), through the incense smoke (Air), sprinkle it with the water (Water) and then the salt (Earth). Finally, recite the following: Elements of Air, Fire, Water and Earth, to this tool of the magick now give birth. Blessed and consecrated in this hour, be thou (name object) of strength and power.

Tips & Warnings

* Do not perform any spell that affects another person unless you have that person's explicit permission to do so.
* Abide the Witch's Rede, which states, "An' it harm none, do as ye will."

Esoteric Christianity

Esoteric Christianity Image
When i picked up the first book of Paulo Coelho, which was THE ALCHEMIST.. i immediately fell in love with his style, philosophical way of writing and spirituality (which is resonant of sufi influence).

Eleven Minutes is the second book by the author that i'm reading. The synopsis goes like this, "A new, international bestseller by the author of "The Alchemist" tells the story of Maria, a young girl from a Brazilian village, whose first innocent brushes with love leave her heartbroken. At a tender age, she becomes convinced that she will never find true love, instead believing that "Love is a terrible thing that will make you suffer..." A chance meeting in Rio takes her to Geneva, where she dreams of finding fame and fortune. Instead, she ends up working as a prostitute.

In Geneva, Maria drifts further and further away from love as she develops a fascination with sex. Eventually, Maria's despairing view of love is put to the test when she meets a handsome young painter. In this odyssey of self-discovery, Maria has to choose between pursuing a path of darkness, sexual pleasure for its own sake, or risking everything to find her own "inner light" and the possibility of sacred sex, sex in the context of love.

In this gripping and daring new novel, Paulo Coelho sensitively explores the sacred nature of sex and love and invites us to confront our own prejudices and demons and embrace our own "inner light."At first read, it might seem that the story is on a very common theme. It might be. But the way Paulo Coelho writes is really brilliant. He has this extra ordinary way of inserting philosophical ideas, spirituality inside the writing (in this novel in the form of a diary kept by maria and often comments by the author). Once i started the book, i found many thoughts coming to me. I will be posting on them in some future posts.
