He tried with these promises and flatteries to detachment him from Christ. So far the blessed child responded: "I would never deny my sweetest Jesus Christ, even if you be a burden on me a thousand tortures, or even if you fixed me your whole official."
Then Beziri controlled that they behead John. They led him to the agora, put forward someplace the fur workshops were, in front elevation of the sponge down, with a leg on each side of from the source, and delivered him to the killer. He kneeled and, wishing to terrify him, swung the sword and hit him on the neck, acid him ever so petite. Subsequently the 14-year-old John from Thasos, the variety, received the covering of martyrdom, on December 20, 1652.
