The Gathering for the Coaching of the Trust (CDF) (Congregatio pro Doctrina Fidei), in the past prearranged as the Immense Sacred Gathering OF THE ROMAN AND Indiscriminate Investigation (wherefrom arose the names ROMAN Investigation OR Saintly Investigation popularly recycled in remark to the 16th century tribunals opposed witchcraft and heresy), and a long time ago 1904 called the Immense Sacred Gathering of the Saintly Offshoot, is the oldest of the nine congregations of the Roman Curia. Along with the most dynamic of the congregations, it oversees Catholic Cathedral ideas. Its offices are housed at the Palace of the Saintly Offshoot at the Vatican.
